What type of marijuana seeds should I buy?

There are thousands of different cannabis varieties out there and most seed banks categorise their stock by sex or genetic variety.

Feminised seeds

Feminised seeds produce only female plants, if you want to grow smokable bud then you want to grow female plants. They are produced by breeding a female plant with another female plant which cuts out the Y chromosomes meaning the offspring will only produce females.

Regular seeds

Regular seeds are as nature intended and can produce both male and female cannabis plants with roughly a 50:50 ratio. If you are looking to breed and produce your own cannabis seeds, then you will need to grow with regular seeds. Regular seeds can also be used to grow cannabis flowers however it is important to cull any male plants to prevent pollination of your female plants.

Sativa seeds

Sativas are a species of cannabis plant that is native to subtropical regions that have much warmer climates such as Central and South America, Africa and Southeast Asia. The plants grow tall and have long stems with elongated colas. They typically have longer flowering cycles that take between 10-14 weeks and are naturally adapted to growing on hot humid environments which means they are much less pest and mold resistant. Sativas can grow up to 20 feet tall so they aren’t always the best plants to grow, particularly if you are guerrilla growing.

Indica

Indica Plants are native to less humid regions such as Afghanistan, India, Nepal and Morroco. They tend to grow short and squat like a bush and with a much denser foliage and fatter leaves. Traditionally Indicas have been used to make hash and Indicas tend to produce much more resin than Sativas. Indicas have a faster flowering cycle but require a lower humidity to avoid issues such as mold developing.

Autoflowering

Autoflowering seeds as their name would suggest flower automatically without any change in their light cycle. These strains have been produced by introducing the Ruderalis genetics into the plants gene pool. Ruderalis cannabis plants are native to colder climates that have shorter days such as Siberia, Russia and Northern Asia. They have naturally adapted to survive in colder environments with less daylight by flowering automatically. Because of this autoflowering strains have shorter flowering cycles and the plants are much shorter.

The best ways to pay for cannabis seeds

Cannabis seed banks are usually flexible with the payment options that they accept since some customers prefer transactions to be kept under the radar. Seedbanks typically accept card payment, bitcoin, bank wire, cash and money order.
Of these Cryptocurrency is the most secure and stealthy method of payment.

Can I use pre paid Credit Cards?

Providing your prepaid card can be used internationally then it should be okay to use. However you should be aware that most seedbanks are based in the UK or Europe and paying with some prepaid cards may not work.

What will show on my bank statement when I order cannabis seeds?

Don’t worry cannabis seedbanks use discreet billing and it will not show up with cannabis or anything related to this. If you want to know exactly what will show on your statement please contact their customer service department.
